Olympic Bid, Chinese Engagement Session
London’s Chinese Community & London’s Bid to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
Wednesday March 2, 1.00 - 4.30pm, Canary Wharf
Dear colleague,
You are invited to come and join us at a special community event hosted by London Chinese Community Network, London Civic Forum and London 2012.
London’s Bid to host the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games is developing at a rapid pace. It is critical that London’s communities have the chance to voice their opinions about plans, as well as demonstrate their support.
This event has three aims:
- To provide you with the opportunity to ask London 2012 your questions about London’s Bid.
- To discuss with your community leaders and representatives, the benefits and opportunities for Chinese groups and businesses of hosting the Games in London.
- To explore ways in which you can demonstrate your support.
The booking form and flyer below give details of the event and how to sign up. Please contact Louise Smith at louise@londoncivicforum.org.uk or on 020 8709 9775 with any queries. Please note that places on this event are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Refreshments will be provided on the day.
Finally, there is a fax back form, which asks some questions about London 2012 and its work. As usual, we would be grateful if you could take the time to return it to us. This will be extremely useful in helping us to plan the event.
Yours faithfully
Tom Cheung
