It had been some time since any detailed research was carried out about the Chinese community in London and as a result of this, information in this regard appeared to be sufficient and outdated, given the rather “visible” changes taking place within the community in recent years. In an attempt to fill what was thought to be a gap, the London Chinese Community Network (LCCN) undertook a study on the subject in 2004-2005, as part of the tasks requested of us by our sponsors.
